20 hand painted PRS Custom Tremonti Joe Fenton Limited Editions
20 unique limited edition Mark Tremonti guitars
PRS has just announced an intriguing set of Joe Fenton Limited Edition PRS Tremonti models. All are handpainted, each with an individual design. The 20-piece limited run celebrates the 20th anniversary of Mark Tremonti’s first PRS signature guitar.
Joe Fenton Limited Edition
This run is limited to only 20 guitars, each painstakingly handpainted by artist Joe Fenton. PRS is really pushing the boat out here to commemorate the 2oth anniversary of the company’s association with Mark Tremonti.
The guitars all have the standard Tremonti specifications, including 22 frets, 25” scale length, the PRS Pattern Thin neck profile and an adjustable stop-tail bridge. Tremonti Treble and Bass pickups are also onoard, each with individual volume and tone controls. Here’s what Mr Tremonti had to say:
Working with PRS for the last 20 years has been one of the great honors of my career, and we wanted to celebrate that partnership with something really distinctive. Joe’s artistry was an immediate choice for me,I love the guitar he painted for me – I play it all the time – and making more of these together is really special.
“The Fenton”
Back in 2014, Mark had a guitar painted by the English artist Joe Fenton. It was a bit of an internet sensation in guitar circles at the time. “Creating a design for a guitar is really enjoyable,” Joe is quoted as saying. “PRS guitars are a work of art in themselves. I approached designing each guitar as if I was embellishing a jewel with the shape of the guitar informing the final design.”
Below I have added images of all 20 guitars, so you can see the artwork in all its glory.
For more details, check out the official video about this limited run. If you feel compelled to make one of these your own, head over to the PRS page below. Each guitar will be made available via an exclusive PRS dealer – and they aren’t cheap…
