2HP MMF: A multi-mode filter in the smallest possible space
There doesn’t seem to be any limitations on what 2HP can squeeze down into their petite Eurorack format. This time around it’s a 12dB multi-mode analogue filter called the MMF.

I have a couple of 2HP modules and they are fabulously useful things that only take up a tiny bit of room. However, fiddling with the knobs is not always the thrilling experience you get with larger modules. It all comes down to how much physical interaction they require. With a filter the chances are that the frequency cut-off knob is going to see a lot of action and in 2HP that’s going to get fiddly. I don’t think 2HP is trying to convince you that it won’t be a bit fiddly but that’s not stopped them from producing amazing and popular modules in their format. I imagine that in use you are more likely going to set a frequency and then modulate the heck out of it with external CV.
MMF offers three simultaneous outputs: high, low and bandpass, and CV control over cut-off and resonance. It’s a simple affair that gives you a lot of possibilities, especially if you just need to squeeze another filter into your rack.
