909-Day Roland DJ Turntable TT-99 and Mixer DJ-99
New DJ hardware being announced later this afternoon
Now the 909-Day Celebration is getting back to the DJ side of things with the imminent launch of the Roland DJ Turntable TT-99 and Mixer DJ-99. Both products come in TR-909 colours and look pretty good. Lets hope they aren’t too expensive!
Scratch n Mix
The Roland Turntable TT-99 and Mixer DJ-99 are looking like they are aimed towards DJs that like to play hard. The Battle Mixer DJ-99 comes up with two channel strips, three-band EQ, plus a microphone and headphone port and master outputs.
As befits a scratch mixer, there are fader curve controls, crossfader and also channel reverse.
The TT-99 looks like it is based upon a classic MK2 design, so should be familiar territory for many vinyl junkies.
Presumably matt-lacquered metal chassis, as it looks pretty solid form the images we have seen so far.
Start / Stop button, 33/45/78 rpm, +/- 10 percent pitch
Rear two standard RCA outputs can be seen. There is a height-adjustable, S-shaped tone arm with anti-skating and a mandatory target light on an aluminum platter.
Looking good, we will update with more details when it gets officially lauched at 4.00 CST.
