D16 Repeater – the ultimate delay plug-in?
Oh joy, what is the awesome Steven Slate going to patronise us about today? Delay! Slate Digital and the truly amazing D16 Group have got together to create the Repeater vintage modelled delay plug-in.
Repeater
So which vintage delay have they decided to model? With a twinkle in his eye and almost a chuckle Mr Slate oozes out the words “all of them”. The Repeater is a dual delay featuring 23 models of vintage delay boxes. “From oil cans and plates to the most famous digital designs” pretty much covers it.
There’s not a whole lot of information about it anywhere just yet. But looking at the front panel it looks like it’s 2 channels, either linked or not with high and low pass filters, colour and panning. Steven says that it’s available as part of the Slate Digital Everything Bundle that starts at $14.99 per month for the rest of your life. No news on how much it would cost just to buy the Repeater once and use it forever.
I really like D16 stuff so I have no doubt this is going to be a great plug-in and I look forward to trying it out.
Hopefully more information will turn up on the D16 website.
