Win €1000: Remix a Christmas classic to win a Thomann voucher
Online retailer Thomann has just launched an intriguing remix contest with a top prize of €1000 – that’s enough top gift yourself some excellent music gear! The task seems easy enough – select a Christmas song and a genre from a list and record yourself doing, say, a metal cover of Jungle Bells, or a punk version of Silent Night. With a closing date of 19 December, you’ve got plenty of time to upload the resulting video. Best of luck!
It’s Your Time To Remix
“Grab your instrument, a camcorder (or smartphone) and off you go: we want to hear the madness inside your head!” That’s how Thomann teaser the remix contest. Sounds quite, ahem, full-on! I hope the judges know what they’re getting into… But full marks to the Thomann crew for focusing on musical creativity, rather than just asking people to tag them on their social media feed.
