Kemper firmware update to v5.00 adds some seriously cool delays
Public Beta firmware update adds some nice new FX
The latest 5.oo firmware for the Kemper Profiling Amp adds several new delay effects to the popular amp modelling system.
It’s a Public Beta and so expect the odd bug, yet the new delays on offer are already being shared all over the web. Expect lots of great audio demos all weekend over on the Kemper forums and Soundcloud.
The following delay types are included: Single Delay, Dual Delay, Two Tap Delay, Serial Two Tap Delay, Rhythm Delay, Quad Delay, and Dual Crystal Delay.
I would recommend you back up all your patches first, because you should be cautious when making any changes to the firmware. Especially as this is a Public Beta version. You may want to head over to the Kemper User Forum first and check out some user experiences before you update your unit.
Let us know what you think and feel free to share links to any music you have made using your favourite KPA delays below. I’ve linked to a few demos that have been uploaded by users this weekend to give you an idea of what to expect from this cool new update.
