Two new signature acoustics for the Alice in Chains guitarist
The new Gibson Jerry Cantrell Fire Devil Songwriter signature acoustic guitar has just been announced, adding yet another model for the Alice in Chains guitarist. This limited run of only 100 guitars will possibly sell out fast, so be quick if you want one. Then there is the Atone model, based on the guitar from the video of the same name.

This model has been made to the Alice in Chains guitarist’s specifications. The Gibson Jerry Cantrell “Fire Devil” Songwriter is based on the traditional Gibson Songwriter platform, but with a few personal touches for Cantrell.

You have a Sitka Spruce top, with rosewood back and sides, and a mahogany neck with an Indian Rosewood fretboard.

Cantrell’s Tweaks
This signature model has a thinner body depth , a unique “Fire Devil” pickguard, Cantrell’s signature on the truss rod cover, a Double J waterslide decal on the back of the headstock, and a “12” inlay at the 12th fret. Elsewhere it features gold hardware with a set of Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners and an L.R. Baggs VTC pickup and preamp system.

Gibson Jerry Cantrell Atone
This model prominently featured in his “Atone” video and you can now buy one for yourself. This one is also based upon the Songwriter, so expect a similar voice to the Fire Devil model.

Essentially, it has exactly the same specifications as the Fire Devil above, but with his signature “Circle in Square” pickguard. Though, this one is not a limited run, so you should be able to get your hands on one without being scalped.
