Reco-Synth has reworked the Reco Drum into a very cool new case and released a Reco Mini Bass and Jolymod Mini modular. Let’s check them out.
Reco Drum Vintage Limited Editon
The original Reco Drum sat up proud in an EMS style upright case with the step buttons coming out console-style at the bottom. This limited edition vintage version has the same machine packed into a rather nice retro-looking case with a hinged, removable lid and handle.
Inside the Reco Drum looks gorgeous – that colour is amazing – and features 6 percussive voices run by a 16 step sequencer. Each drum sound has 4 controls covering the tuning, decay and such like and they all have individual outputs. There’s a very cool looking analogue VU meter and the whole thing is dripping with sass and fabulousness.
Reco-Synth is only making a few so grab one while you can for delivery in May. The cost is around £950 (BRL 6,500.00).

Reco Mini Bass
Next up, in an aluminium attache case, is the Reco Mini Bass. It’s a little analogue monophonic bass synth with a single oscillator, filter and envelope and a built-in button keyboard. You can also plug in a MIDI controller if you prefer.

Jolymod Mini
Lastly, a cool-looking, Moog inspired modular system in a single compact cabinet. It has two VCOs, filter, mixer, two envelopes, two VCAs and a sequencer. This is a perfect little setup for someone wanting to get into modular and needs it to look a bit more classic than your regular Eurorack. The cost is around £950 (BRL 6,500.00).

Really smart putting these in a case with a cover and instructions. I love how it sounds as well. Lots of smart design decisions.
