Thomas Erak of the The Fall Of Troy has teamed up with CMC Guitars And Effects for the new Triple Octave Manipulator octave fuzz, a lot of fuzz with three octaves of madness on offer. Built by hand in small numbers in Syracuse, New York, this fuzz has some super thick tones.

New York based CMC Guitars And Effects has teamed up with The Fall Of Troy’s Thomas Erak and released a new Triple Octave Manipulator. As the name suggests, it gives you three octaves to play with, combined with a sweet fuzz sound. This all-analogue octave fuzz will really thicken up your guitar’s sound and give you a great touch-sensitive effect, that responds well to a guitar’s neck pickup and volume control.

Triple Octave Controls
It has Gain and Volume controls for each of the sub octave, root and upper octave sections, plus a Master Volume that governs the overall output of the effect. Finally, the four-way chicken head dial selects from four wave shapes; Clean, Synth, Square Wave Sub and Unison Square Wave, each giving the octave effects a different character.
Clean is perfect for lower octaves, whilst Synth has a more harmonic synth-style weirdness. Square Wave Sub gives you gated octave-fuzz sounds and, finally, the Unison Square Wave is essentially the same as the previous setting, but takes the sub-octave out of the mix.
