Gretsch Players Edition Sparkle Jets with Bigsby: Two limited edition models

Gretsch has announced two limited-edition Players Edition Sparkle Jets in Champagne Sparkle and Ocean Turquoise Sparkle finishes. These two models have some great features, including a set of Tim Shaw-designed Broad’Tron BT65 pickups and gold hardware throughout.
Sparkle Jets
These limited edition run Gretsch limited-edition Players Edition Sparkle Jets come with gold hardware throughout, in either Champagne Sparkle or Ocean Turquoise Sparkle finishes. They have the very handy string-thru Bigsby B7GP vibrato system, making it easy to re-string. This is paired with a set of Gotoh locking tuners along with an anchored Tune-o-Matic bridge, which should mean rock-solid tuning throughout.

Chambered
Both models feature a chambered mahogany body that is paired with an arched laminated maple top and a mahogany neck. The neck has a 12” radius ebony fretboard, fitted with 22 medium jumbo frets, plus a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut and has a set of big block mother of pearl inlays.

Broad’Tron BT65
These guitars are powered by a pair of Tim Shaw-designed Broad’Tron BT65 pickups. These are wired using master volume with treble bleed, along with dedicated volume for each pickup and master tone with no-load pot. And they are all wired via a three-way switch.
