Free-standing absorber walls like the new t.akustik PET Mobile Wall are also very useful as a temporary solution in rooms with flexible configurations, like in a recording room, rehearsal space, or video set. Consequently, t.akustik says that the Mobile Wall isn’t just for studios, but also for offices, call centers, and home cinema applications. In short, a versatile and flexible solution for any room that needs a bit of help with acoustics.

The PET Mobile Wall measures 1950 x 950 millimeters and has a panel thickness of 50 mm. The absorbant PET fleece material ensures an effective range from 315 Hz upwards. The PET Mobile Wall offers an absorption NRC (noise reduction coefficient) of 0.95 and is flame-retardant according to the ASTM E84 – Class 1 standard. t.akustik also says that the material is suitable for use in high-humidity environments.
Each set consists of two acoustic panels, three connectors, and two feet. This means that you can also choose to use only half of the wall. The total weight is just over 6 kg, so it’s easy to move around and position anywhere you need it. The Mobile Wall is available in black, white, and grey.
