iZotope Ozone 10 and RX 10: free upgrades if you buy v9 until Sep 12
Big iZotope news! The developer – and Soundwide brand – low-key announced that versions 10 of its Ozone mastering software and RX audio restoration suite are coming very soon. Moreover, the news are sweetened by solid discounts on the developer’s flagship products with free upgrades to Ozone and/or RX 10 coming at launch.
iZotope Ozone 10 and RX 10 free upgrade deals
If you buy Ozone 9, RX 9, or a software bundle containing those products, you will get the version 10 upgrades for free. It’s a mighty fine sales tactic for users who have been holding off from upgrading. The offers are valid until September 12, 2022 and are available from iZotope or its dealers, including our affiliate partner Thomann *.
We don’t know anything about the enhancements and improvements brought by Ozone 10 and RX 10. My bet is on a short and sweet list of iterative improvements – mostly focused on pushing AI-assisted functionality even further. It would be cool if iZotope plug-ins get a little better at talking to each other within your project, too. Syncing various instances of Ozone or Neutron should happen a bit more seamlessly, although it’s a minor complaint on my side.
In addition to Ozone 9 and RX 9 (Standard or Advanced), several bundles are discounted as well. These include the Mix & Master Bundle, RX Post Production Suite 6, Music Production Suite 5 Universal Edition, and Everything Bundle.
The offers are valid until September 12, 2022 at iZotope and its dealers, such as Thomann *.

I’d rather see them make some small updates to Ozone 9 and RX 9 instead of releasing a whole new version. The new features that were added between RX 8 and 9 wasn’t even enough classify it as an 8.5 update, and I’m guessing it will be the same with v10. I’m done with iZotope. I’ll keep using the versions I own now, but I’ll never buy anything from them again.
Agree. RX9 wasn’t released that long ago was NOT a significant update from RX8. I used to love iZotope, but now…
Izotope are an absolute joke. I have Ozone 9 Advanced, they give zero support for existing customers. Once you buy something, they are done with you.
They won’t support the software beyond the most basic of updates, and new versions are released instead of adding any extra features to the software you have purchased.
You have to wait for a paid upgrade which i think is bad as new customers get priority. I always look for the upgrade bargain and Sweetwater is a good place to start when Ozone 10 is released tomorrow. I got all my Ozone packages way under their advertized prices, just by waiting for the right moment. I got Neoverb for example for $49 and i live in the UK.
Just be like the fox and wait for the right moment.
Going to add to the choir. Izotope is garbage now. New version of every single product every year, seldom with any tangible reason to upgrade.
They’ve made some great stuff over the years, so really sad to see them go down this route.
I’ve bought Ozone 9 Standard and was told I would get the Ozone 10 upgrade for free but yet hit with the “loyalty upgrade” of $99 USD for a product I’ve already paid over $199 for. Thanks iZotope.
