Eventide releases Physion MK II multi-effects plug-in at intro price

Audio effects stronghold Eventide Audio announced Physion MK II, the successor to its multi-effects processor plug-in that’s based on transient/tonal structural splitting. Eventide Physion MK II
At a glance, the new version adds SIFT-based polyphonic pitch shifting, reverse delays, sidechain input for dynamics, and more parameters to tinker with. As much as it is a new version, the user interface doesn’t look drastically different. This means most of you will feel right at home!
At the core of Physion is still Eventide’s Structural Effects DSP technology which split sounds into their transient and tonal parts. The two can be manipulated independently using Eventide effects and fused back together. The Underlying Split can be manually adjusted for fine-tuning and experimentation. Likewise, Transient and Tonal Output levels can be controlled separately.
The ability to add both effects and dynamics changes to each of the transient and tonal sections means Physion MK II can output a large variety of sounds ranging from subtle to extreme. A comprehensive preset library of 500+ presets is provided to give you a solid all-around idea of how things sound.

- Reverse Delays section with Gating, Ping-pong, and Crystals modes.
- Side Chain input for the dynamics processing.
- EQ Filters from Eventide’s SplitEQ plug-in which you can read more about here.
- Resizable user interface with scrolling waveform display and no menu diving required.
- Specially tuned Eventide effects are available for both the Transient & Tonal streams.

- Three Color Schemes: Normal, Dark, and Colorblind Accessible.
Price and availability
Available in 64-bit VST/VST3, AU, and AAX formats, Eventide Physion MK II is on sale for an introductory price of USD 99 until October 31, 2022. The regular price is USD 179. Owners of the original Physion or SplitEQ plug-ins are eligible for discounted upgrades. A free 30-day demo version is available to download. Licensing is handled via iLok (free account).
