NAMM 2017: T-Rex tease Binson Echorec via Facebook
Yes, THAT Pink Floyd delay!
Those dastardly Danes at T-Rex Effects have published a teaser on their Facebook page to the effect that they will be releasing a recreation of the legendary Binson Echorec at NAMM 2017!
If you head over to the T-Rex Effects Facebook page here you can see where they left this not-so-subtle teaser earlier today. The Echorec is a legendary echo/delay effect pedal that many vintage effects lovers adore. A faithful recreation with modern day stability and components could be something very special indeed.
Pink Floyd
A certain Mr Gilmour is probably one of the most famous users of the original Binson Echorec units. With this calibre os former users, it’s easy to see why the prospect of a modern version of the Echorec has got some people in a bit of a lather.
Binson Echorec
Check out the YouTube demo below of an original Binson Echorec and you can see they look and sound like a classic tape echo delay unit. We think this new T-Rex version will more than likely be a re-working of the fantastic T-Rex Replicator but as soon as we get more details, we will, of course, update you all.
Roll on NAMM!
More details may well appear on the official T-Rex Effects site and so check here nearer the end of the week
