Elektron Syntakt
The Elektron Syntakt takes the format of the popular Digitakt in a new direction with a 4-track analogue drum machine. While each of the 8 digital tracks has a choice of 10 sound generation engines, the analogue drum tracks have 15, and the cymbal track 12.
In addition, each track has either analogue or digital overdrive, a multimode filter, and two LFOs for modulation. The intuitive sequencer is another key aspect of the design and each of the 12 tracks can be used for MIDI which is useful.

Access Virus TI2 Desktop
The Virus TI2 virtual analogue engine is still regarded as one of the best ever designed. While the DSP chip may be dated and the TI interface not as impressive as it once was, it’s still an incredible standalone instrument sonically.
The layout and interface make it easy to use, the effects are excellent and can be used by external instruments, and the quality of the onboard digital converters is still great.
