Synth Deals
From basic desktop units and grooveboxes to fully-blown digital polysynths, we’ve picked out a few of the most interesting items. Let’s take a closer look at what’s on offer:
Roland AIRA Compact J-6
The AIRA Compact J-6 is a tiny ACB-driven desktop module with a 4-voice synth engine based on the Juno-60. Its basic parameters provide control over your filter and envelope, with 64 preset patches as well as built-in delay and reverb.
Although it sounds decent, possibly the most attractive thing about the J-6 is its onboard 64-step chord sequencer, with a selection of 100 different chords and the ability to vary the phrasing. So, it might serve as a nice tool for sequencing your other polysynths.

Behringer Poly D
In classic Behringer style, the Poly D takes the familiar design into the stratosphere with 4-voice polyphony and 4 VCOs to shape your sounds with triangle, sawtooth, and pulse waveforms.
To make things more interesting, there’s a built-in BBD chorus and a distortion with tone control. In addition, the Poly D has a 32-step pattern sequencer and an arpeggiator, which gives you a range of starting points for your ideas.
