Reverse Mode C Small

The Chase Bliss Audio Reverse Mode C is a new limited-run pedal and part of their Small Batch Bliss series of pedals. It is described as a fantastical mix of motion and space, which consists of an echo composed of multiple distinct voices that move in different directions – forward, backwards and up.

Small Batch Bliss

The Small Batch Bliss series is a made-to-order line of special edition pedals. There is no limit or selling out, just order within the month-long preorder period and they will build it and send it out.

Superdelay

It is based on the Superdelay collaboration with Empress Effects back in 2008. Just now it has all that extra digital control that Chase Bliss has made a reputation from, so expect a lot of DIP switches.

Modulation

The pedal includes a variety of modulations including Frequency shifting (x2), vibrato, chorus, and tremolo (x2). These are paired with three different echo voices and these can either be isolated or blended together in a variety of ways. Allowing users to create rich, layered repeats and unique panning effects.

Sequencing

A built-in sequencer allows for an additional layer of synced motion, or control via user playing dynamics. Allowing the operator to cycle between the different voices to what Chase Bliss describes as rolling echoes and a shifting stereo image.

Control

As with all Chase Bliss designs, the Reverse Mode C features advanced connectivity and customisation options including MIDI, CV and Expression control, presets and internal modulation of any or all its control knobs. Making them great for tweakers and experimental musicians alike.
