A new lightweight design from the Danish manufacturer, AIAIAI, the TMA-2 DJ XE continues on the theme of the chic modular look and feel that has become a signature item for DJs.
AIAIAI TMA-2 DJ XE: Lightweight DJ Headphones
As per normal, TMA-2 DJ XE is built using S01 MKII bio-cellulose membrane drivers. As DJs often require monitoring clarity in high-SPL environments, there is a priority on minimizing distortion even when listening at high volumes.
Weighing less than 170g, the TMA-2 DJ XE combines the H01 nylon headband, E02 on-ear PU ear pads, and the 1.5 meter straight C05 cable into a rugged overall construction, built to last.
With a completely modular design, you can, of course, swap out individual parts which is incredibly useful. You might even want to keep spares in your gig bag when you’re on tour – because accidents do happen.
Overall, the TMA-2 DJ XE provides a slightly more affordable alternative to the widely used TMA-2 DJ headphones, and should appeal to both DJs and music lovers alike.
