LANDR Mastering Plugin
The simple and intuitive interface encourages users to dive right in without tutorials. The plugin shows the frequency spectrum, with an additional curve when using the gain matching feature to A-B with your reference track.
There are three basic operating modes that determine the plugin’s overall behaviour and characteristics, including Warm, Balanced, and Open. By flipping through these 3 settings, you can quickly find one that suits the feel of your track.
Then, there’s a 3-band EQ, a presence control, and a de-esser for suppressing resonant frequencies. Meanwhile, the stereo imaging controls allow you to set the degree to which you want to widen or focus your mix.
The dynamics section is also streamlined, with controls for compression amount, character, and saturation. So the idea is to find the sweet spot for each control quickly, so the plugin can analyze and do the work.
Last but not least you have the large-and-in-charge loudness knob with its corresponding LUFS meter, so you can keep an eye on your levels at all times.
