Slappy creates a classic slapback delay effect. Like any good delay, it’s got time, feedback, and mix controls, and there’s a pair of filters for shaping the sound. But that’s not all: Denise Audio has also added a saturation circuit modeled after an old reel-to-reel tape machine, which results in a warm and smooth slapback delay without any harsh high frequencies.
