These BOSS 50th Anniversary Limited-Edition Pedals include the DS-1 Distortion (DS-1-B50A), SD-1 Super Overdrive (SD-1-B50A), and BD-2 Blues Driver (BD-2-B50A).
BOSS 50th Anniversary
The BOSS 50th Anniversary Limited Edition pedals all come in a metallic finish, with a silver battery-compartment thumb screw, gold-capped knobs, and a 50th-anniversary emblem. The three pedals in the set include the DS-1 Distortion (DS-1-B50A), SD-1 Super Overdrive (SD-1-B50A), and BD-2 Blues Driver (BD-2-B50A).

Limited-Edition
There are only 7000 units available worldwide. Each comes in an exclusive box and are marked with unique four-digit serial numbers.
Certainly, these are aimed at collectors, as the circuit appears to be the same as the regular versions of each pedal. Thankfully, they are all solid choices and I think BOSS has chosen three of the mpst popular and versatile drive/distortion pedals for this celebration.

DS-1 Distortion
Since its debut in 1978, the DS-1 Distortion has become one of the most used distortion pedals in th world and is a stone cold classic.
SD-1 Super Overdrive
Introduced in 1981, the SD-1 Super Overdrive builds on the success of the original OD-1 model by adding a tone control and tweaking the circuit.
BD-2 Blues Driver
The BD-2 Blues Driver has been a top choice since its introduction in 1995 and offers a very versatile, subtle (when required) overdrive.
Collectors
As I mentioned earlier, these limited edition pedals are aimed at collectors, though the metallic finishes look pretty nice and if you wanted something a little different then they could be a nice option if you were thinking of buying one of these classic BOSS effects.
