A long time in the making, T-Force Zenith brings JP-8000-style subtractive synthesis to your Windows computer! The blue color pay homage to the famous VA classic that provided inspiration. However, Zenith can do a whole lot more than just Supersaw!

The 32-voice synth offers two oscillators per voice, each of which can deliver up to 7 stacked and detuned voices. There are more than 200 waveforms to choose from. Moreover, T-Force Zenith even lets you load your own samples or record audio directly into the synth and edit them down for use as single-cycle oscillator waveforms. Not too shabby!

The filter section boasts 15 different filter types. For modulation, T-Force Zenith offers two ADSR envelopes for amp and filter and two more for various modulation tasks. In addition, there are three LFOs that can operate in monophonic or polyphonic modes. A built-in effects section with a wide selection of MIDI and audio effects puts the icing on the cake.

T-Force Zenith is currently only available as a VST3 plugin for Windows.

Vain Audio Orange Gate: Simple but effective Gate

Orange Gate by Vain Audio is a straightforward gate that has one job: Letting higher levels pass through while silencing quieter sections. For this, it offers the usual threshold, attack, and release parameters.

However, Orange Gate has two standout features that make this plugin very useful. Firstly, there’s a handy visualizer that makes it easy to keep an eye on what’s happening. As the developer puts it: “You must be taller than this line.”

And secondly, Orange Gate offers a built-in sidechain filter that allows you to tune the response to specific frequencies. With lowpass, highpass, bandpass, and bandstop modes, this adds a lot of versatility to this otherwise simple gate plugin.

Orange Gate is available as a VST3 plugin for Windows only.
