Orange Dual Dark 100 White: Is white the new orange?
The perfect white amp for dark tones?
Another Dual Dark 100 amp, but finished in pure white tolex. With a promised tight bottom end and percussive attack, what’s new here?
Dual Dark 100 White – Limited Edition
The original Orange Dual Dark 100 was a step away from tradition. With a totally blacked out exterior, along with different gain and voicing characteristics. It was still that Orange sound, just slightly different.
Here though, this Limited Dual Dark 100 White is finished in pure white tolex, and has had extensive work to revise the tones yet again. We’ve got twin valve channels for perfect authenticity, providing an old school British tone.
Clean vs Dirty
Channel A can be cranked up from any clean tone. Allowing players to play softer licks, whilst also being able to shake the ground beneath them. Meanwhile, channel B gives you defined mids and sweet highs for soloing and blues chugging.
Each channel has its own independent gain control, comprising of a 3 band EQ for maximum control. Switching between your contrasting tones is easy, as at the flick of a footswitch, you’ll go from clean to killer tones in no time at all.
This amp has four selectable power outputs. Players benefit from 100w, 75w, 50w and 30w at their disposal. Thus, taking some power away from the valves for enhanced playability. Overall, these things have been designed to be used and abused!
