Ibanez has revealed the TOD70, the eagerly anticipated extended-range counterpart to Polyphia guitarist Tim Henson’s signature model. Built for modern players seeking unparalleled versatility and tone, this seven-string powerhouse delivers.

Crafted with a focus on performance, the new Ibanez TOD70 boasts a sleek Silver Metalflake finish, an American basswood body, and a roasted maple AZ Oval C neck topped with an ebony fretboard adorned with Henson’s iconic Tree of Death inlay and a set of jumbo stainless steel frets.
This combination should deliver exceptional playability and sustain, as seen with his signature 6-string model.
Fishman Fluence
At the heart of the TOD70 is a pair of Fishman Fluence Tim Henson Signature Series pickups, offering a vast tonal palette ranging from crystal-clear cleans to aggressive, high-gain leads. The push/pull tone pot allows easy switching between pickup voices.
Other premium features include Gotoh MG-T locking tuners for rock-solid tuning stability, a Gotoh T1527S bridge with a whammy bar for expressive playing, and a Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dots for effortless fretboard navigation on dark stages.

It is fitted with a pair of the Fishman Fluence Tim Henson signature humbuckers wired via a 5-way switch with a single volume and tone control. The tone knob doubles as the switch for the two pickup voices.
