Adam Audio D3V: Compact Monitors with USB-C Connectivity
A bite-sized monitoring system from Adam Audio.
The Adam Audio D3V is a compact and convenient monitoring solution that turns any room into a studio, for recording, editing, and listening.
Drawing from extensive experience as a monitor manufacturer, Adam Audio has designed the D3V to be a quick way to get into studio mode when all you have is your laptop.

The D3V design uses 3.5-inch aluminium woofers with accompanying passive radiators that allow the frequency response to go all the way down to 45 Hz. Meanwhile, the 1.5-inch D-ART AMT tweeter helps the D3V produce similar high-frequency detail and stereo imaging as the rest of the Adam Audio monitors.
As we can expect from Adam monitors, there is an integrated DSP system to optimize the D3V for your acoustic environment. The most exciting aspect, however, is the USB-C port, allowing you to connect to the D3V digitally.
Without requiring an audio interface, the D3V becomes an extremely convenient little monitoring system and it’s also compact enough to transport. In addition, the D3V has a range of useful features for added value and versatility.
These include:
- A set of desktop stands
- 3/8-inch mounting sockets
- TRS inputs
- A headphone input on the front panel
Also, the volume knob on the front lets you quickly power up the DV3 and quickly adjust the system to your desired level. Overall, this is a great addition to the Adam Audio monitor range and it is sure to be popular among musicians and content creators alike.
