Strandberg has expanded its popular Boden Metal series with two new models, each featuring a stunning roasted maple neck and eye-catching modern finishes.
Boden Metal
Designed for players seeking a fuller, more robust tone and exceptional ergonomics, these new Strandberg Boden Metal models are sure to turn heads.
The Black Granite boasts a floating tremolo and is available in six- and seven-string configurations. On the other hand, the Blood Red offers a choice of six, seven, or eight strings and features the EGS Rev7 hardtail bridge with string locks.
The Strandberg EGS Rev7B tremolo bridge has been used for the first time with the Black Granite models, which is new for this range.
EndurNeck
Both models share many key features, including Strandberg’s signature EndurNeck profile for optimal comfort and reduced fatigue, chambered basswood bodies with solid maple tops, and 24-fret ebonol fretboards. Additionally, the guitars feature carbon fiber reinforcements in the necks for added stability and sustain.
Roasted Maple
One of the standout features of these new models is the roasted maple neck, which provides a unique combination of warmth, brightness, and durability. The roasted maple also enhances the overall tone and resonance of the guitars.
Suhr & Fishman
In terms of pickups, the Boden Metal Black Granite and Blood Red six-string versions are equipped with Suhr Aldrich humbuckers and a five-way switch. On the other hand, the extended-range models feature Fishman Fluence Modern pickups, offering a versatile range of tones and voicing options.
Pricing
Boden Metal Blood Red and Black Granite are now available for purchase. Six-string models start at $2,095, seven-string models at $2,195, and eight-string versions at $2,295.
