Even more Behringer Synths now Available at a Lower Price!
Behringer now Also Cuts Prices in Europe
Like the Model D before, other Behringer synths have had their prices slashed without notice and for no apparent reason. The Kobol Expander, the Solina String Ensemble and the Toro bass synthesizer have also been “affected” by the price cut. Of course, this should provide some potential buyers with a good argument to act now – while the Behringer synths are still in stock and available.
Behringer Synths Prices Drop Significantly
Over the past few months, Behringer synthesizer prices in Europe have dropped significantly, following the significant changes in the US market last summer. Most recently, the price of the popular Behringer Model D was reduced to an all-time low of 199 Euros. This development is part of a larger wave of price reductions that has now reached the European market, affecting numerous models.
The Kobol Expander, inspired by the rare RSF Kobol Expander from 1979, is now available at a lower price. The price is now down to 180 Euros, a small but significant reduction. The Behringer Solina String Ensemble, a replica of the 1974 ARP Solina String Ensemble, has also been significantly reduced in price and now costs only 222 Euros, about 25 percent less than before.
UB-Xa and More: Price Update Now Available in Europe
The price reductions apply not only to monophonic and duophonic synthesizers, but also to more complex models. The UB-Xa, Behringer’s polysynthesizer recreation of the Oberheim OB-Xa, has dropped from its original summer price of €1,299 to €975. The price of the desktop version, the UB-Xa D, has also been adjusted and is now 819 Euros. The Toro synthesizer, a tribute to the 1975 Moog Taurus rev1, has also become cheaper. Its price has dropped by 11 percent to 177 Euros.
Either way, today’s prices are a great opportunity for many musicians to get new sounds and expanded capabilities without having to dig deep into their pockets. Behringer’s wide range of synthesizers, from models such as the Model D and Toro to complex devices such as the UB-Xa, offers the right solution for different sound preferences and applications.
Synthesizer fans benefit
Reactions to this development may be polarized within the synthesizer community. While some see the lower prices as an opportunity to get professional sounds, others may wonder how sustainable these price cuts are. The fact is that Behringer’s strategic price adjustments once again underscore how serious the company is about providing affordable and powerful equipment for sound artists.

when can we get an update on the development of the Behringer CS80? Behringer was stating that they were on going with the R&D of the instrument but wouldn’t give any time frame as to when this would be accomplished. Also, Behringer stated that the PPG wave was finished and being sent out for beta testing. That was 6 months ago. When will we hear anything about the PPG and the CS80?????
