Schecter and Avenged Sevenfold’s Synyster Gates have teamed up to create a truly unique instrument: the Custom-7 TR Headless. It is available in Oak Green Metallic or a highly limited-run Gold finish.
A Headless Wonder
The Custom-7 TR Headless seven-string marvel radically departs from Gates’ previous signature models. First teased over the summer, the headless design is a bold move.
Gold
The guitar’s chambered mahogany body with a maple centre provides a resonant tone, while the Ultra Thin C maple neck, reinforced with carbon fibre rods, offers incredible playability.
The ebony fretboard has a “Syn S” at the 12th Fret inlay in gold and is adorned with 24 X-Jumbo gold frets and Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dots, ensuring effortless fretting.
Schecter USA Synyster Gates Signature Humbuckers deliver the signature tone, controlled by a master volume and master tone, coil-splitting push-pulls, and a three-way toggle switch.
Hipshot
Gold hardware, including a Hipshot 7-String Headless whammy bar and bridge tuners, adds a touch of luxury. To celebrate the long-term collaboration, a Schecter and Syn S control cavity cover is also included on the guitar’s rear.
