The new Keeley Rotary pedal delivers unparalleled fidelity and intuitive controls, making it the ultimate tool for recreating that classic rotary effect. Users can experience the iconic swirling textures, and vintage warmth of rotary speaker cabinets reimagined with Keeley’s cutting-edge technology—all without having to lug around a huge rotating speaker!
Keeley has used their new laser-cut aluminum cases in the same format as their recent Halo pedal.
Controls
The basic controls consist of Blend for the dry and wet signals and Drive, which adds depth and character to your tone with our rich, tube-like saturation. Plus, Mid-Boost has three distinct EQ curves to fatten the stereo chorus effect.
Easily adjust the rotation speed with the large, ergonomic Speed Knob, perfect for adjusting on-the-fly with your foot.
Dual-Speed
This pedal has a Dual-Speed Control with a dedicated footswitch to switch between classic slow warble and fast, dramatic chorus effects. The Brake then instantly halts the rotation for a dramatic “stopping” effect, mimicking the original rotating speaker effect. An Adjustable Ramp sculpts your sound with smooth or dramatic speed transitions.
Stereo
It has stereo inputs and outputs, an optional pulsing LED that reacts to the rotary effect, and a pedal that can be set to True Bypass or Buffered Bypass.
Sold Out
As I mentioned, the first batch has already sold out, and the next batch goes live on 23 December. This pedal’s price point is perfect for a rotary effect and has the necessary control; it is stereo, which is also a big bonus.
