Schecter Pets Rockin’ Dog Toys for a Paw-some Christmas
Get ready to rock your dog’s world this Christmas with Schecter’s latest release: a pair of guitar-inspired dog toys that will keep your furry friend entertained for hours.
These latest releases differ significantly from Schecter’s last major announcement, the Synyster Gates Headless Custom-7 TR. However, if you are stuck on what to get your puppy as a gift, then these two guitar-related dog toys are perfect.
Chompest and Humbarker
Introducing Chompest and Humbarker! Chompest, a faithful recreation of a Schecter headstock, and Humbarker, a playful homage to a PAF humbucker complete with ropey wiring, are ready to be chewed, tugged, and loved by your four-legged music enthusiast.
Schecter Pets
For 15 years, Schecter has supported and donated over $100,000 to local shelters and rescues. Now, every purchase of these dog toys helps those organisations provide vital care to animals in need.
“Each toy is meticulously designed in-house and rigorously tested by our very own canine quality control team,” says Schecter. “We’re passionate about providing the best for every dog, and these unique, Schecter-branded toys are crafted to bring endless joy to your furry best friend. With every playful strum and tail wag, we’re committed to making a positive impact on the lives of musicians and their pets alike.”
“What started as a small initiative inspired by our vice president’s love for his adopted boxers has evolved into a core part of our identity,” says Schecter. “Our efforts and donations have contributed to the rehabilitation and rehoming of countless dogs, providing essential resources, medical care, and fostering programs.
“Just like music, love and care for animals enrich our lives, creating a sense of purpose that extends far beyond the music industry.”
It is for a good cause, and as a dog owner, I know my two four-legged friends would love chewing on these guitar-themed squeaky toys.
Chompest is $17.99, while Humbarker is $18.99. Visit Schecter for more information and to purchase these rockin’ dog toys.
Guitar Titans Satriani and Vai Unite for SatchVai Tour
Legendary guitarists Joe Satriani and Steve Vai have announced the formation of a new band, SatchVai, and an upcoming European tour titled “Surfing with the Hydra.”
Dynamic Duo
The duo, who have been friends for nearly five decades, have a long history of musical collaboration, including their involvement in the G3 project.
Earlier this year, they released their first original song together.
Surfing with the Hydra
Satriani expressed his excitement about the tour, stating, “The SATCHVAI band tour is happening! I can’t wait to share the stage with Steve again. We’ve been fueling each other’s musical fire since our teenage years, and it feels like we’ve never stopped.”
Two Virtuosos
Vai echoed Satriani’s enthusiasm: “Touring with Joe is always a privilege. There’s no one I’d rather jam with. We’re both at the peak of our careers, and this tour will be a powerful celebration of the electric guitar.”
This new 2025 tour should be entertaining and something to look forward to in the new year. If you love a bit of shred, you can book tickets now using the link below.
