With the new Reloop RMX-30 BT, you get an affordable compact mixer, perfect for honing your skills as a DJ or playing small events.
The RMX-30 BT fits into the range directly between the RMX-10 BT (2-channel) and the larger RMX-44 BT (4-channel) DJ mixers. Like the other mixers in this series, many of the features, such as Bluetooth routing with cue functionality, and a useful mic preamp with EQ.
Reloop RMX-30 BT
All 3 channels are laid out in a familiar fashion, with the input selector at the top, followed by the gain control and the 3-band EQ. However, with channels 1 and 2, you have the option to use a Bluetooth device as your input source.
Pairing devices is easy, with the button on the top left of the control panel, and this allows you to mix directly from DJ apps on your smartphone or tablet. What’s more, if a fellow DJ adds their Bluetooth-compatible console to your setup, you can create a collaborative mixing setup, with the freedom to bring in tracks from either side.
On the rear panel, the RMX-30 BT offers a total of 8 inputs and 4 outputs, so you have the option to set up monitors separate from your main output, which has LED metering. These main XLR and RCA outputs are useful for streaming, so you can monitor your session and hear exactly what your audience is listening to.
Overall, the build quality is solid as you can expect from Reloop DJ mixers, with a 45mm replaceable crossfader. Individual channel metering would have been useful, but perhaps this would have pushed up the price tag.
