Lenco Presents Three New Turntables at CES
The LBT-215BK, LBTA-165 and LS-570 are the three new products that Lenco is presenting to vinyl lovers at CES 2025. There is even a model with a built-in speaker. The new record players are not only about musical enjoyment, but also about good appearance. And if you already have a turntable, you might like the TTA-080SI, a record weight with a built-in LED disco ball, which is my favourite gadget of CES at the moment.
LBT-215BK: Bluetooth and USB Record Player
This fully automatic turntable from Lenco is also equipped with Bluetooth and features auto-start and auto-return. The LBTA-165 combines a wooden cabinet with a metal platter and a metal tonearm fitted with an AT3600L cartridge.
All in all, this model is a little simpler and lacks extras such as USB, but at just €199, it is also quite affordable. The turntable is available in two versions: LBTA-165BK and LBTA-165WD – one with a black finish and one with a wooden finish.
The LS-570 Combines a Turntable and Speakers With Additional Extras
This model has a built-in speaker, so the actual drive is located in the top of the speaker. With 80 watts of power and four drivers, this model will appeal to anyone who loves records but doesn’t want to buy a whole system just for them.
Bluetooth support is also integrated, making the Lenco LS-570 a small all-in-one system. The belt-drive turntable uses a high quality Audio-Technica cartridge (AT-3600) and offers the option of switching off the internal preamplifier to connect the system to external preamps and high-end components.
The USB port makes it easy to digitise your vinyl records on your computer, while the AUX input also allows you to connect external audio sources.
With its oak finish cabinet and four wooden feet, the LS-570OK is also a stylish piece of furniture. The feet can be removed at any time, however, and the turntable/speaker combination can also be placed on other furniture using four rubber feet. This fine piece is available for €399.
Lenco TTA-080SI Stabiliser With RGB Disco Light
Record weights – also known as stabilisers – are somehow totally hip, even though nobody used to use them. But the sound is supposed to be better because vibrations are minimised and the record runs more smoothly. There are really expensive ones from Japanese manufacturers, but with the TTA-080SI Lenco offers a weight that is much more of a fun gimmick. It comes with a disco ball inside!
Yes, you read that right: this 250g weight doubles up as a disco ball with RGB lighting effects! The music sensor is adjustable in five levels, so you can change the lighting to suit your mood or music preferences.
A rechargeable battery inside promises up to eight hours of use and is charged via USB-C. Really nice, I like that kind of kitsch! This gadget costs €39.99 – my right index finger wants to click the buy button.
