Waves Titan SoundGrid and Titan-R SoundGrid are two new DSP-equipped servers for live applications. The manufacturer promises maximum power for real-time plugin processing – the new SoundGrid servers can now process more plugins simultaneously than ever before. The new models are available immediately.

‘More performance for professional live applications!’ – this is the promise of the new Waves Titan and Titan-R SoundGrid servers. The new SoundGrid models are designed to process hundreds of plugins simultaneously and in real time – with the lowest possible latency. Waves claims 0.8 milliseconds at 44.1 to 96 kHz.

At its heart is the new Gen 14 CPU, which is said to deliver up to 1.5 times the processing power of the previous Gen 10 CPU. This gives solutions such as SuperRack, the eMotion LV1 software mixer or eMotion LV1 Classic significantly more power when it’s needed. This is thanks to the 14th generation Intel processor built into the unit.

In any case, the manufacturer promises that the new Waves Titan servers can handle even the most demanding shows at sample rates of up to 96kHz.

More Power for More Possibilities

The manufacturer has put a lot of emphasis on stage-ready build quality. According to Waves, everything has a sleek, yet rugged industrial design. LED indicators provide simple and reliable power and temperature monitoring. This should ensure reliable mixing even in demanding live setups. Integrated rack ears ensure quick installation straight out of the box.

Waves Titan and Titan-R SoundGrid are designed to be quiet, especially with regard to the built-in fan. The Titan-R also uses a redundant power supply, designed to provide double security for ‘critical’ applications. Stable positioning of the RAM modules is another important aspect for both models.

Availability and Pricing

The Waves Titan and Titan-R SoundGrid are available now, with the smaller model priced at $3999 and the Titan-R at $4499.

Waves will also be at NAMM 2025, where the new servers will be on display at booth #18304.
