Black Box Analog Design HG-Q
The HG-Q provides six individual bands per channel, with stereo, dual-mono, mid-side, and mono operation, it gives you a wide scope of applications. The secret to the design of the HG-Q is that it uses tube saturation for the boost circuitry to introduce warmth and colour, while there are solid-state circuits in play when you cut.
This means that you have the perfect balance to perform creative and corrective tasks when tackling vocals, guitars, drums, and synths in your mixes. Meanwhile, the accompanying HG-Q plugin allows you to recall your exact settings which makes the unit also suitable for use in mastering workflows.
