Two new Roland DrumLink products deliver wireless connectivity for the cable-conscious V-Drummer.

e-Drums are great! Ok, so I’m slightly biased, but in the 21st Century, there’s virtually no argument against e-Drums left. They play, feel, look and sound like acoustic drums more than ever before. They’re quieter, easier to store, easier to load in and out and your kit can sound like anything you want!

The One Problem with e-Drums

But… there has always been one small issue. You have to connect all the pads to the drum module. Each pad means a long cable. Running the cables around your lovely chrome rack makes it look like an explosion in a shoe lace factory. And then you’re restricted on where you put your drum module.

Roland DrumLink WT-10 and DH-10

Well, if you’re an. e-Drummer who plays Roland V-Drums or the amazing DWe kit, your prayers may well have been answered. Announced at Anaheim ahead of NAMM 2025, Roland are previewing two new products in the Roland Drum Link family that will make your cables disappear!

There are two products involved: the WT-10 Wireless Trigger Adapter, and the DH-10 DrumLink Hub. Compatible with Roland’s drum and cymbal pads, as well as their RT-30 acoustic drum triggers, their V71, TD-50X and TD-27 V-Drum modules and the SPD-SX sampling pad series, these units pair up to allow wireless communication between pads and modules.

Expand your DWe Kit Experience with Roland DrumLink

It also means that DWe kit drummers can now wirelessly link up Roland drum and cymbal pads with the DWe Wireless Hub, further expanding the capabilities of these impressive, convertible drum kits. The WT-10 has an integrated mount and can support up to two single-trigger or dual trigger products. The DH-10 can receive trigger signals from multiple WT-10 units and sends them to the module or a computer over a single USB-C or MIDI cable.
