Waves eMotion LV1 Classic
As we mentioned, the eMotion LV1 Classic has up to 64 mono/stereo input channels and 44 busses, with 16 Waves Signature Preamps, as well as 12 line-level outputs. While this might not sound that impressive at first, you can expand the I/O with the IONIC 24 and IONIC 16 stageboxes and increase your DSP power with up to three additional SoundGrid servers.
Operations are centered around the 21.5-inch multi-touch display with HDMI output, and the console with 17 100 mm motorized faders and per-channel mini-displays, multi-purpose rotary encoders, and muto/solo/select buttons. Meanwhile, the 32-bit float 96 kHz low-latency mix engine allows up to eight plugin slots per channel.
The level of remote app integration is also outstanding, as MixTwin allows full iPad control by mirroring the LV1 display. In addition, MyFOX lets you adjust faders, panning, and sends from any position in the venue with an iPad while MyMon allows performers to adjust their monitor mixes on stage.
The LV1 Classic includes a range of 16 processors with the option to add from a library of 160 live-optimized plugins to suit your workflow. Connectivity-wise, the LV1 Classic offers AES3 output, AES3 SRC input, as well as 2 Ethercon and 2 Rj45 SoundGrid switch ports. Overall, the LV1 Classic has been created to become the ultimate touring or broadcast console in any configuration.
