Affordable drum kit for beginners!
The new Drumcraft Series 3 Junior drum kits offer just about everything you need for a young beginner. Three color variants and hardware included: fulfill your kid’s dream of rocking out! There are bigger bundles that include cymbals and a drum throne as well.
DrumCraft Series 3 Junior: 5 Shells And All the Hardware You Need
DrumCraft is known for offering drum kits at a very affordable price with high-quality materials. The new Series 3 Junior models fall in that realm as well. There are three types of bundles: without cymbals, with a set entry-level Paiste cymbals, or with a higher-grade Zultan cymbal set.
For each of the three bundles, there are three color variants to choose from: Natural, Black, or Turquoise Sparkle. So, it’s either jazz, metal, or disco! Each kit consists of five 7-ply poplar shells and chrome hardware, namely a 18″ x 14″ kick drum, 10″ x 07″ and 12″ x 08″ toms, a 14″ x 12″ floor tom, and a 13″ x 5.5″ snare drum.
The hardware includes a kick drum pedal, a snare stand, a hi-hat stand, and a cymbal boom stand. Each of the entry-level bundles is available at Thomann* for 498 euros.
Bigger Bundles with Cymbals from Paiste or Zultan
Two things are missing from the entry-level DrumCraft Series 3 Junior: cymbals, and a drum throne. With the Series 3 Junior Paiste Sets, you get both of that. These three sets include everything, the Series 3 Junior shell sets have. In addition, you get a Paiste Se 1 101 cymbal set and a drum throne from millenium.
The cymbal set consists of two cymbals from Paiste’s entry-level 101 series: 13″ hi-hats and an 18″ Crash/Ride. Again, you get three color variants – Natural, Black, or Turquoise Sparkle – and each set is available at Thomann* for 659 Euros.
The biggest of the bundles among the new Series 3 Junior kits come with more cymbals and additional hardware – minus the drum throne. In the set, that includes all the afore-mentioned shells and hardware, you get four cymbals from the Zultan Impulz Cymbal set made of B20 Bronze: a 20″ Impulz ride, a 16″ Impulz crash, 14″ Impulz hi-hats, and an additional free 10″ splash cymbal.
Since one cymbal boom stand would leave you with two unusable cymbals, you also get an additional Millenium CS-718 Stage Cymbal Stand and a Millenium CBC Set 2 Cymbal Arm with a Clamp. That way, the splash cymbal can easily be mounted. You get the three color variants again, and each one is availavle at Thomann* for 899 euros.
