The KSD C55 Reference studio monitor uses a point source design and a FIRTEC DSP system to optimize playback for your listening space.
Since 1996, the German manufacturer KSD has created professional monitoring solutions for music, broadcast, and post-production, and now offers a range of options for stereo and immersive configurations.
KSD C55 Reference
The C55 Reference studio monitor uses a unique active 2.5-way coaxial design. This is comprised of a dedicated 5.5-inch woofer, and a coaxial system consisting of a 5.5-inch midrange driver and a 1-inch tweeter.
With 350W amplification, the C55 has a maximum SPL of 108 dB and a frequency response of 35 to 22000 Hz. This allows you to use it as a nearfield or midfield monitor, in vertical or horizontal configurations.
The FIRTEC DSP uses 24-bit 192 kHz AD/DA conversion and allows you to adjust the crossover, gain, speaker delay, and high and low shelving filters. In addition, there are six parametric EQ settings for multiple users or different applications, and all features can be controlled by the KSD-RC remote controller.
