Music Man help St Vincent release “Masseducation” LP with limited run neon guitars
St Vincent celebrates new album release
Masseducation is the title of the new St Vincent album and Ernie Ball/Music Man are helping her celebrate its release with a highly limited run of what I can only describe as ‘seriously neon’ guitars!
St Vincent
The Music Man St Vincent signature model guitars have a unique look (I likened them to a shovel in the past). These bright neon colours will make them stand out even more.
What’s special about these is that only three of each colour being made. They will probably be virtually impossible to actually get hold of, as that is very limited indeed.
Neon Leopard
Available in either a neon Blue, Pink, Yellow or Orange finish, these guitars are very eye-catching and if you like the design you may well lust after one of these. I’m actually quite fond of the bright orange one myself, especially as it has an equally lurid leopard print pickguard and matching control knobs!
The bodies are a lightweight African mahogany and the hardware is the same as the standard models as far as I can see. Expect the really smooth Ernie Ball trem system, stainless steel frets and locking tuners, which are standard on these American-made instruments.
These should play like a dream, even if you will need sunglasses to be in the same room as them. But after the release of Ibanez’s neon JEM JRs it looks like we are revisiting the ’80s this week for guitar finishes.
You will need to get a hold of a Music Man dealer if you want one of these limited edition models as there are only 12 in existence. Each guitar also comes with a limited edition copy of the new Masseducation album on vinyl as well.
RRP – USD 2499
