The Korg D1 Digital Piano is a top-class keyboard built into a slim and compact form for a grand feel in a small space.

It’s not a whole lot bigger than the Japanese made RH3 keybed itself. Featuring a full weighted hammer action to reproduce the touch and feel of a grand piano. It’s blocky and rectangular like the Grandstage but at least half the depth and nowhere near as ugly. It’s simple, refined, understated and designed to be played.
It comes with 30 sounds carefully crafted to faithfully reproduce the feel of the instrument. There are 5 types of touch and 9 types of temperament with up to 120 voice polyphony. Pack in some Brilliance, Reverb and Chorus and you’ve got a working digital piano.
It is light and compact enough to make for a great stage piano while still being as tough as you need it to be. The fabulously clear top panel is ideal for resting your beer, or your music books. Or if you are using it at home then I can only imagine the crap that will end up being stacked on top of it – if it’s anything like my house.
It looks great, has some useful sounds and a fabulous keyboard for players. There are no speakers or sequencer or anything flashy. It does what it says on the tin.
