NAMM 2018: Studiologic SL73 STUDIO MIDI controller
The Studiologic SL88 STUDIO MIDI controller has now been joined by a 73 note version imaginatively called the SL73 STUDIO.
SL73 STUDIO
This is more compact and portable than the SL88 but still houses a hammer action TP/100 keybed. Each key has three contacts with note-on and note-off velocity sensing. The user can alter the key balance and choose from six editable velocity curves. Aftertouch adds that expressional feel.
The SL73 STUDIO sports four programmable MIDI zones, a handful of controls and a little colour display. a 6-way control knob does the majority of the work while the 320×240 display keeps you abreast of all the changes. The zones mean that you can play four different MIDI devices at once, spread across the keyboard. And if you want to dig deeper there is a software editor.
Studiologic makes solid MIDI controllers, the SL73 STUDIO is another one of those.
