Wusik Station v9 music software is out with ample updates, affordable price
Wusik Station is a popular all-in-one synth/sampler workstation and effects processor that you can load up in your DAW as a VST2, VST3 or AU plug-in. It’s very affordable considering the many, approaching countless, things it can do to your sounds — including generating them.
Version 9 of the software is out now, with ample updates across the board, a new single-file installer, and new readymade sounds. While version 9 is not compatible with projects from version 8, an update to v8 will enable v8 users to use compressed sound files from version 9. So keeping the two Wusik versions together on your computer is always a possibility.
Among the key new additions are:
- New wave sequencer mode with 15 drum tracks and 4 x 16 step variations.
- Monophonic note sequencing
- GUI Zoom for larger displays
- New wave sequencer patterns
- New Sample Map editor
- Copy & paste envelopes
- MIDI output from the Wave Sequencer
- New modulation possibilities in the mod matrix: Auto Note, Logic, Gate
- Oscilloscope in the master page
- New Sample Player direct buttons
Overall, a compelling update to what already is a piece of accomplished software.
