Knobcon 2018: First look at the finished Behringer RD-808 Rhythm Designer
We all saw the prototype RD-808 at Superbooth with a still unconfirmed feature list and handwritten labels. But just before Knobcon 2018 opens today Japanese tech website Icon has posted some images of what looks like a fully functional production model of Behringers clone of the TR-808 Rhythm Composer.

I don’t think there’s anything unexpected here, just a more finished product with properly printed labels and such like. The layout and arrangement of buttons is identical to what we saw before. So no surprises but it’s great to see and hear a production unit. No doubt a lot more images and video will appear over the weekend and we’ll add them to this article. Behringer has already said that we should expect delivery for Christmas and that the price is likely to be under $400.
In their 808 Day video of the RD-808 prototype in action they ended by saying “SEE YOU 9 / 9”. We took this to mean something about 909 Day tomorrow, but maybe it was all about Knobcon.

Was n vertane Chance hier ne Ansage zu machen.
