Pay what you want for the RE4ORM synth and RE4ORM FX, half goes to charity
Developer 2getheraudio has come up with two elaborate plug-ins, a synth and an FX module, and a novel method of selling them. To get RE4ORM and RE4ORM FX, you pay what you want and half of the purchase price goes to a charity of your choice!
There’s also a free trial available. But hopefully, you are considering shelling out a few bucks for a pair of nice looking plugs and a noble cause.
RE4ORM is an additive synthesizer that lets you draw and warp the shape of both the additive synth waveform and the multi-filter modulation LFO. RE4ORM FX gives you eight of these to play with by modulating 20 built-in audio effects. Very creative!
With the ability to pencil in your own shapes, the possibilities are virtually limitless. Still, you will probably start with the stock shapes, which are synchronized to your DAW’s project tempo and also have user-selectable speeds.
RE4ORM and its FX unit comrade is built on using 2getheraudio’s Qubiq Audio struQture audio engine, a platform for building virtual instruments and effects with a fully modular architecture. It’s in use by industry heavyweights like AKAI, NOS Audio, and Sonivox, which speaks volumes about its relevance.
Price and availability
RE4ORM and RE4ORM FX are available for Windows and Mac computers in VST, AU, and AAX formats.
