A new airy fluctuating delay pedal from Japan's finest

Free The Tone FF-1Y RF Future Factory
Yes, the Free The Tone FF-1Y RF Future Factory does sound rather nice and it can do some beautiful sounding delays with modulations and subtle phase shifts. Super pleasing to the ear and very musical sounding.
Phase Modulation Delay
As the phase of LFO (low-frequency oscillator) changes regularly it modulates the circuit at a preset frequency and gives the whole delay effect movement. You would kind of expect that, but then they went an added this Random Fluctuating Phase Modulation Function.
Now the phase changes at random when the signal crosses a certain attenuation, making it even more interesting and giving it more depth and character.
Twisting and Turning
You also get a dedicated three-band equalizer for delay sound, there is also a monaural mode, with a soft clipping circuit to one channel of the delay. There are in fact two delays in the unit and so you can use it as a stereo delay if you wish. So you can run them in Series or Parallel if you like.
They also list it as having 32-bit DSP processing, it has MIDI support, tap-tempo, presets and trail functions, plus delay phase invert and a built-in HTS Circuit and analogue mixer!
My advice, just go and have a listen to the demo video below as it sounds great and if you like delay, then you are sure to enjoy this one.
RRP – USD 420
