Roland Cloud gets classic pro sounds with the Roland SRX Studio

Roland has added a virtual version of their SRX Studio expansion board to the Roland Cloud subscription service.

The SRX Studio expansion was a collection of super-high quality, no-nonsense instrument sounds that would be forever useful in the studio. We’re talking expressive pianos, lovely sound guitars, quality wind instruments and other acoustic sounds not covered by the other expansions. But it also had its share of evolving textures and sonic creations. Roland SRX Studio features 128 patches, 12 rhythm sets, and 522 waveforms.

It comes with a huge stack of 78 effects covering filters, modulation, chorus, delay, reverbs, dynamics and all sorts of combinations and eclectic possibilities.
And it’s not just about the presets. Open up the patch matrix and you can get into the details of the structure, waveforms, envelopes, filtering, modulation and all sorts of tweakable things.
