Ableton Live 10.1 update with VST3 support is out now

In beta testing since February, Ableton 10.1 has officially landed. Nothing major seems to have changed from the initial announcement, but there’s a new walkthrough video which you can watch if you want to get up to speed quickly. If you are more of a reader, though, the big news is (still) as follows:
User Wavetables
Live 10.1 lets you import custom wavetables and samples into the Wavetable synth’s oscillator section. Have fun turning The Donald into a blaring bass drop!
Channel Equalizer
A simple all-purpose eq for every channel, with self-adapting filter shapes according to your settings.
A new delay
Ableton unified the Simple & Ping Pong delays with some upgrades to their functionality. Ping-pong settings and Jump/Fade-In/Pitch controls are accessible from the front panel.
Enhanced automation
New automation shapes, stretching and skewing, more accessible clip modulation in Session View, and simplified C/S shapes for easier editing.
Streamlined zooming/scrolling
There are new keyboard shortcuts for switching between detailed and big-picture editing, as well as pinch zooming (on compatible computers), resizable Arrangement Overview, and other tweaks.
Assorted new functionality
Live 10.1 lets you freeze tracks with sidechain routing, export single tracks and groups with applied return and master effects, and use VST3 plug-ins.
Mind you, these are only the major changes. The complete release notes are extensive and you can read them here. The update is a free download for all Ableton Live 10 owners. If you have auto-update enabled inside the DAW, the update should download automatically. Otherwise, you can grab it from your Ableton account page.
