Musikmesse 2016: Faith Venus Blood Moon and Nomad series acoustic guitars
Faith guitars have launched two new models at this year’s Musikmesse show. The first one is the Venus Blood Moon, a new OM-style cutaway model, while the second is a travel guitar called the Nomad series. Both were originally shown at NAMM 2016, but get their official release today.
The Venus Blood Moon model is an electro acoustic and has a cutaway for easier upper fret access. The tone wood chosen for this model is Javanese High-Figure Trembesi with a solid flamed maple binding and ebony fittings. The Trembesi gives the instrument a very striking look and has similar tonal properties to mahogany, just with a more pronounced top end. Each one comes wit a fitted hard case included in the price.
Next up is the Nomad Series which is a travel guitar version of the popular Saturn and Neptune models. Both versions feature a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. They also have a built in CnR3 preamp, a three-band EQ and a phase button along with a built in tuner. They come with a gig bag included in the price as well.
RRP Venus Blood Moon is available now for GBP £849. The Nomad Mini-Saturn GBP £429 and Mini-Neptune GBP £439
