Sonarworks Reference 4.3 update adds dark mode, usability improvements
Sonarworks Reference 4 is one of the leading speaker and headphone calibration systems on the market. A major revamp of the Systemwide app aside, the freshly released version 4.3 comes with a good number of meaningful usability improvements.
The addition of Dark Mode is the most visible among them, but it’s not all. Sonarworks has introduced on-demand headphone profile downloads to let users download profiles for individually measured headphones right into the application. A reworked filter mode sees the inclusion of a mixed filter, meant to serve as a middle ground between accuracy, sound quality and latency. Lastly, the number of supported-by-default headphones is raised to 232 with the inclusion of models from Beyerdynamic, Direct Sound, and Marshall. Nice work!
