Summer NAMM 2019: Fender launches Britt Daniel and Lincoln Brewster signature models
Two new Signature models for this year
Fender has unveiled the Britt Daniel Signature Telecaster Thinline and Lincoln Brewster Signature Stratocaster models at Summer NAMM.
Fender Britt Daniel and Lincoln Brewster signature models
First up is the Britt Daniel Signature Tele Thinline, this has a semi-hollow ash body finished Amarillo Gold lacquer. The guitar comes with a ‘Deep C’ maple neck, with a 9.5”-radius fingerboard, medium-jumbo frets.
The Fender Custom Shop single coils are wired via an S-1 switch that changes between series and parallel pickup wiring.

Lincoln Brewster Signature Stratocaster
Lincoln Brewster gets his a new Signature Stratocaster and this one is finished in Aztec Gold finish. It has a compound radius on the maple fingerboard and two-point tremolo with a pop-in arm, plays a a ‘soft V’ maple neck, medium-jumbo frets, 1-ply Eggshell pickguard and vintage-style locking tuners.
This Strat has DiMarzio noiseless single coils pickups, two Area 58 models, one in the neck and middle. Then an Area 61 in the bridge position, all the pickups are wired via an onboard active boost, activated via the push/pull volume control, and a custom mid-boost on the tone control.

Fender Signature Updates for 2019
Amongst the existing Fender Signature models in the company’s range , the Jim Atkins JA-90 Telecaster Thinline will be released in Arctic White and the Troy Van Leeuwen Jazzmaster (a great guitar, I own one myself) will now come in Copper.
The Fender Justin Meldal-Johnson Bass will be released in Black, whilst the Tony Franklin Fretless Precision Bass will now be offered in Lake Placid Blue with matching headstock.

Honestly had to look both of these cats up. Never heard of either of them and been playing for 31 years.
